Here's some of the videos I have on my channel on UTube (http://www.youtube.com/user/karenlynnwheeler).

karenlynnwheeler — April 21, 2010 — Karen Wheeler is free-motion longarm quilting with the APQS Millennium a lovely Furoshiki (wrapping cloth), which is on a Quilter's Dream Wool batting which has a grouping of oriental fans and leaves.

Part 1 is showing the Furoshiki before it is quilted and the back of butter yellow cotton of this wall hanging. April 8, 2010

Part 2 is showing the back being pinned onto the backing roller of this wall hanging. April 8, 2010. I now use a Leader Grip method of attaching the backing to the leaders, which doesn't harm or puncture the quilt back at all.

Part 3 is showing the back being pinned onto the takeup roller of this wall hanging. April 8, 2010. I use the Leader Grip method now and no pins.

Part 4. Free-motion quilting the furoshiki fans wallhanging.

Mystery Pinwheel, which I designed the layout, took class in our guild from Pam Thomas, and quilted myself.

Corner block detail of "Iris in My Garden". I designed the layout, took workshop, cut, sewed, and quilted it myself. Workshop October 11, 2008 by Diane Steele, “One Block Wonder – A Kaleidoscope of Fun”.

Our family memory quilt made with fabric printed on my inkjet and sewed together, lettering and stars cut from gold dot fabric with my Cricut Expressions using the software for that machine to scale the fonts. Photo taken May/June 2008 in our back garden.
